A small background process that reads your Claude Code credentials, polls

Windows: the installer adds Argus to the Start menu and
Apps & features. It's per-machine, so it asks for admin rights. These
builds aren't signed with a commercial certificate, so Windows shows an
“unknown publisher” prompt and SmartScreen may warn on first run — choose

macOS / Linux: run chmod +x argus-daemon first.
On macOS, Gatekeeper may require right-click → Open the first time
(these builds are unsigned).
